Felicia Gallegos Pettis A Colorado native, Felicia was born and (mostly) raised in Pueblo. During high school she moved to Denver and switched from instrumentalist to vocalist. Now with 20 years of singing experience, Felicia has been the featured vocalist for the Denver Continuing Education Center Jazz Band under the direction of Ron Jolly; lead vocalist of Thee Accent while a student at The University of Notre Dame; featured female vocalist for The Spin; and lead singer for Tony Silva y Trio Xochitl (http://www.myspace.com/trioxochitl) singing folk classics in three-part female harmony with a concentration on traditional Mexican music. More recently, Felicia has added acting to her performance résumé and is currently a member of Denver's El Centro Su Teatro (www.suteatro.org) having participated in four of the last six productions by the company. Among her most memorable performances was singing the National Anthem for a Denver Broncos' home game during their 1998 World Championship Season and working with acclaimed writer and director, Daniel Valdez during the spring of 2008. Felicia is an extremely talented and soulful vocalist who borrows from a variety of musical influences to accomplish her versatile sound. With the recent addition of a more solid Spanish repertoire, Felicia goal to be one of the most diverse vocalists to work in Denver, the region, and even the United States is manifesting. Felicia holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame and has completed coursework towards her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. Helping to make people happy and healthy is Felicia's "ministry". Although music is a priority in her life, Felicia's main focus is her 5-year-old daughter, 3-year old son, and husband. |

Sean Dooley Sean is proud to be a third-generation, Colorado native. He has been studying music for well over 30 years and at the age of seven, Sean began his musical journey with diverse training from The Denver Junior Police Bands. Throughout his formal training he has received numerous scholarships, awards and recognition for outstanding performance and musicianship graduating with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He strives to approach the Drum kit not as “just a Drummer” but as a percussionist—incorporating his broad musical background which extends from orchestral percussion, Broadway Musicals, Marching percussion, to the Drum Kit with Jazz Big Band and Combo playing to Rock, Reggae, Blues, Latin, and R&B Drumming. Sean Dooley brings a wide range of colors to set the mood for The Spin’s diverse musical repertoire by leading the group with fire rhythms for The Spin's energetic grooves. He has had the honor of playing for many diverse types of audiences including many political figures that include a United States President as well as an African King. True stories—ask him about it! Since he began playing professionally at the age of 17, Sean has performed throughout the Rocky Mountain region form obscure clubs such as the "Owl Club" to some of the finest dinning and country clubs in the region. Some of the high-caliber, local bands and musicians Sean has been blessed to help accompany include The Joe Keel Action Orchestra, Lynn Watkins Band, Dotsero, Al "Hammond" Moore, and "Ace" Horace Butler to mention a few. Off stage, Sean has a passion for wildlife and the preservation of our open spaces and forest lands. Sean has been blessed with many unbelievable opportunities and people in his lifetime which include every person he has hand-picked to perform with The Spin over the last ten years. Despite his many interests, Sean's most important and favorite role is father. As a single father, he devotes his life to his two best compositions--his 4 and 6 year-old daughters. |
